Alarm Bracelet for the Elderly

An alarm bracelet for the elderly is device that elderly Britons can use at home to help keep them safe and living independently. The alarm user wears a bracelet on their wrist (neck pendant options are also available), and this wrist worn button allows them to call for help should they fall, feel unwell or have some other sort of sudden illness.

The emergency bracelet for elderly is linked to an alarm base unit, that is plugged into the telephone landline in the home. When the alarm bracelet is pressed it activates the base unit, this in turn calls through to SureSafe’s 24/7 Response centre.

When the call comes through to SureSafe’s Response centre from the alarm bracelet, the call is answered within a few seconds and a trained Response Operative will arrange for the appropriate help. Help can include calling for a paramedic or  an ambulance, calling the police or fire brigade, or calling one of the alarm bracelet user’s family and friends.

Alarm bracelets for the elderly can give peace of mind to both the alarm user, and their loved ones, as well as significantly increased safety as help is just the touch of a button away.

SureSafe also offer an alarm bracelet that can automatically detect a fall without the wearer needing to push the button. This can be very useful where the alarm user has fallen and lost consciousness, or where their sudden illness prevents them from pushing the button e.g. following a fall or a stroke.
