The 24/7 Connect is a fully monitored neck alarm for the elderly that connects you directly to one of our trained Response Centre Operators. This flexible personal alarm can be worn as a pendant or a wristband.

The alarm could not be easier to use. Simply wear it on your wrist or around your neck. If you have a fall, or suddenly feel unwell, press the button on the pendant or wristband. This will activate the base unit plugged into your phone line and call through to one of our trained Response Centre Operators. The operator will talk to you via the base unit to understand what is happening. They will then arrange for the appropriate help. This can include calling family or friends, calling the emergency services or both.

If we cannot talk to you through the base unit we will phone you on your landline or mobile. If you cannot answer the phone, we will call your nominated contacts to ask them to check on you. If your nominated contacts are not available we will call the emergency services and ask them to check on you. No alarm calls goes unanswered.

This neck alarm for the elderly is bath and shower proof. This is very important because the bathroom is the highest risk area for a fall.

Our Automatic Fall Detection pendant or wristband can be added to this alarm at any time. Automatic Fall Detection is designed to alert us if the wearer has a fall and is not able to press their SOS button. Should this happen, our Response Centre Operators are fully trained and will manage the situation to make sure you or your loved one gets the best possible care.

The alarm is very easy to use. You simply plug it in and away you go. It comes fully programmed and ready to use straight out of the box. If required, we can arrange for someone to install this alarm and give you a demonstration. You will need a landline for this but you will not need a new telephone socket and it will not interfere with your phone. It is great for those who want to live independently in their home for longer.

After you make your purchase, we will contact you to collect more details including nominated contacts, medical information and direct debit information (where you decide to pay monthly). The renewal price when paying annually for subsequent years is £139. There is no minimum contract period and this can be cancelled at any time. The equipment is rented. You simply return it to us when you no longer need the service. When purchasing the annual plan, there is a £45 set-up fee included. This set-up fee is non-refundable after 14 days.

I would definitely recommend this company and their service for elderly people who may need help if they get into any difficulty.

I recently needed to organise for a smoke alarm to be connected to my grandmothers personal alarm system. She is living with vascular dementia and is listed as a vulnerable house house so the fire brigade has suggest we added this service onto the existing personal alarm system she has. SureSafe could not have been more helpful, from Miriam who organised the call out to Carl the engineer. Thankfully, and I don't like tempting fate!!!but I have not, to date needed to use this device in an emergency. I did my research very carefully before contacting the supplier whom I must say was a delight to converse with, being most helpful and informative and thankfully he relied on his excellent knowledge without being pushy. The benefits: For myself the important points are: Fairly easy to set up but needed help with giving the necessary details on-line, my concern here is elderly persons access to the internet. The pendant is light and not cumbersome and can be worn as a pendant or on a key ring. It is totally waterproof for use in the shower, a most important consideration as falls often happen in the bathroom. Ease of operation should I need to use. If I ever get out and about again and take a tumble I have the confidence that I can be tracked to the exact spot, GPS was a big selling point for me plus the important fact that it is British designed and produced, Considering the technology and the development costs its good sensible value for money. As it stands the device currently suits all my needs. My sister has the Council device which is very cumbersome particularly the telephone connections. I could have sold her one but she prefers direct contact over using the three friends contact numbers but I learn progress and options will be available with SureSafe alarms. I have no hesitation in recommending this item and have done so to many friends already.
